 Great book Feb 04, 2010
I wish all our congressmen and the president would read this book. If they did perhaps we could save our country, thats us a lot of money.
Global warming book. Jan 30, 2010
Super good science in this book. Learn the truth that global warming is a normal cyclic event that has happened in the past and is not caused by humans. 3 global warming cycles, which includes the one we are currently in, are documented by the study of ice cores, ocean sediments, and human history. The book is filled with scientific approaches that show the truth about global warming and flies in the face of current politically correct thinking.

The authors painstakingly select the bits of evidence that will support their case, and brush aside everything that won't. I hope they've enjoyed the attention their slipshod "science" has brought them...

Best Reference on the Truth of Global Warming Jan 03, 2010
This is one of the books Phil Jones of the UN's IPCC, Professor Mann of the Univ of PA and Dr. Hansen of NASA wish you would not read. They would rather you only read their exaggerated or fabricated global warming data.
The recent release of the purloined emails from Jones to Mann and others outlined how they manipulated data and conspired to prevent publication of counter views and real science.
The purloined emails should be treated like the theft and publication of the "Pentagon Papers" during the Vietnam war. Liberal anti-war groups rallied to defend the government employee who stole the papers and called him a hero.
But now the liberals want the emails ignored and the ones who obtained and released the emails prosecuted.
Read this book for the unaltered truth about Global Warming.
The evidence from the ice cores drilled off Greenland and Antarticia should be sufficient evidence to show that CARBON does not govern the earth temperature. Carbon has existed in much higher concentrations, ten times greater, without a rise
in the earth's temperature. And Singer and Avery go much father using ancient Chinese records, tree rings, etc to prove their point that fluctuations in the Earth's temperature are normal, and not man made.
We do not have the technology to raise or lower the temperature of Cleveland one degree and no amount of increased taxes will change that.
Read the book, learn the truth.

After reading Dr. Singer's book I read the reviews and rebuttals to the reviewers posted on Amazon. I think it is easy to summarize all by saying that the debate is not over.
Like religion, there are true believers who attack non-believers on faith alone. It's also possible one should follow the money because there are more than a few converts who've figured out how to milk the system.
In the end, the taxpayer is the dead end kid who gets to fund all the new laws, restrictions and requirements passed into law by politicians and bureaucrats who might not be operating on good information. Dr. Singer's efforts show that there is another theory that fits the data, so right or wrong, it at least throws doubt on the CO2 theory as the only one.
